What flexible TPE offers
Thermoplastic elastomer combines a moulded shape with useful flexibility. It can flex under minor impacts and across temperature changes while returning toward its original form.

How rigid plastic behaves
Rigid plastics can hold a precise shape, but their impact and cold-weather behaviour depends on the exact formulation and thickness. Overly brittle material may be less forgiving.

Shape matters as much as material
Neither material compensates for poor geometry. The best result comes from a flap moulded for the correct vehicle and aligned with the original mounting points.
